Not all heroes wear capes, but you can if you want to!

This year you won’t be taking part in just any 13.1 mile run, it’s the Manchester Half Heroes Edition.   

Every hero has an origin story and we’d love to know yours. Is this your first half, have you overcome your kryptonite, has someone’s heroic strength inspired yours? Whatever your story, let us know why you’re taking part and you could become part of our Manchester Half Hero Team.

If you’ve not signed up yet, there is still time to enter and start your hero training ahead of Sunday 9^th October.

This year we want to champion all things heroic, including celebrating our running heroes (we’re looking at you…), those who inspire you to run, and local heroes we encounter everyday.

In addition to the much-loved usual features such as the bespoke medal, this year those taking part in the special Heroes Edition will get:

• Event Day Hero Photo Opportunities
• NEW City Centre Section
• Chance to be part of our assembled Manchester Half superhero team

With lots more to be revealed, you’re guaranteed to have plenty of fun along the way.
