Route Map
Where you will be running.....
You can find the locations of drinks and water stations here.
For information on getting to the start please view our travel page here.
The start and finish area as in previous years will be near Old Trafford, and this year, once again, the Manchester Half will cruise into the vibrant city centre. As usual, you can expect cheer stations and unrivalled support from the crowds as you conquer the 13.1 mile course (think loud and then double it).
We can’t wait to see you at the start line. If you are planning to support runners on the route please head to our Supporter Hub for the best locations on where to spectate.
The route is officially measured by an independent body, and a certificate issued to ratify the official Half Marathon distance. You can see the certificate here.
Road Surfaces
Whilst the route is generally flat enabling many people to achieve PBs, it is important to note that the road surface on any road, by its very nature, is not completely even. We work closely with the council to communicate to them about the road surfaces before the event however not all areas can be fixed, and so there will/may still be;- Potholes
- Uneven surfaces
- Speed bumps
- Traffic islands and other structures
- Cycle lane bollards
