The Army’s National Charity (ABF)
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is the Army’s national charity, here for soldiers, past and present, and their families for life. We stand at the forefront of support for the Army family, last year supporting 65,000 people in 48 countries around the world. As one of the largest funders in the sector, we award grants to individuals and families, and fund leading organisations that support soldiers, former soldiers, and their families. All serving soldiers, veterans and their immediate families should have the opportunity to avoid hardship and enjoy independence and dignity.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
We are here to empower young people; to support them as they learn new skills, overcome obstacles, and build confidence and resilience. Our goal is to give more than one million young people the chance to participate in our life-changing programmes, over the next five years, including young people who simply couldn’t afford to take part without your support.
Manchester University Foundation Trust (MUFT)
Be part of something special and join our 2023 Manchester Half Marathon team today! Your support ensures our family of ten NHS hospitals, clinical services and local care organisations can go above and beyond for our patients. With your help we support the delivery of exceptional treatment and care, we fund cutting edge equipment, and we support research projects to improve our understanding of illnesses and how best to treat them.
Our mission is simple: support organisations worldwide to relieve poverty, distress, sickness and hunger. The charitable offshoot of Manchester-based business PHMG, the PHMG Foundation has donated more than £750,000 to more than 70 good causes since 2013.
The Mustard Tree
Mustard Tree combats poverty and prevents homelessness.
We are a Greater Manchester charity that creates opportunities for people and communities to help themselves through providing practical support, life skills and connections into work. We provide food, clothing, furniture and other essentials alongside crisis support, courses, classes and training, all in the same buildings. This wrap-around approach gives people the dignity, confidence, and tools they need to build themselves back up. We have done this for 30 years.
The Rick Casey Trust
Founded in 2020, The Ricky Casey Trust seeks to advance the knowledge, education and research into rare renal cancers in the UK, particularly Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC). We aim to improve awareness amongst the general public and healthcare professionals treating renal cancer, fund vital research, and provide equipment and treatment to help preserve the health of people suffering from RMC and other rare renal cancers. We also provide support to those who are suffering from these diseases and their families.
If you would like to run for The Ricky Casey Trust then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Tommy’s mission is to make the UK the safest place in the world to give birth. In the UK, it is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss during pregnancy or birth. 60,000 babies are born prematurely. We fund vital research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, so we can keep saving babies’ lives.
UK Islamic Mission
UKIM promotes and encourages mutual appreciation and friendly relations between Muslims and non-Muslims. Through its work, it aspires to see all citizens, irrespective of their colour, background, ethnicity, economic class and political affiliation, to live in dignity and peace with each other. This is because Islam aims to break the shackles that disunite human beings and restores dignity for all people. This was the mission of all the messengers of God and this is the mission that UKIM is delivering to the best of its ability and resources.
