Ibrahim Abdullah

Ibrahim has been progressing very well in his table tennis and has been training hard over the past few months.

He is currently playing in the Trafford league for Kings Road Table Tennis Club (KRTTC) who are top of Division 2 with Ibrahim winning 23 out of his 24 matches. He was also selected to play for Cheshire U15’s after the trials and represented them for the 1st time back in November winning 5 out of his 6 matches.

He came runner-up in the Blackpool U13’s event and will be representing his school, Stretford Grammar, in early February in the Schools Individual Table Tennis Championships.

The Trafford Active Fund has helped Ibrahim buy some table tennis equipment and paid for some of the coaching that he has been having from Khamal Hussain.

Ibrahim is currently ranked 36 in England (U13’s) and is hoping to break into the top 20 by the end of the season. We wish Ibrahim all the best with his training and competitions, and hope he breaks top 20!
