MEET FOUNDER JANE DENNISON
Meet Jane, who started the award-winning MileShy Club during mental health battle in 2017. The club received funding from our Trafford Active Fund last year (where £1 of every entry goes towards creating a sporting legacy in Greater Manchester) and also featured in a recent BBC campaign. Learn more about Jane's journey and the club here!
MEET FOUNDER LAUREN KNOTT
In 2023, Lets Run Manchester started with a simple mantra: 'Thursday's for the girls!" Founder Lauren Knott tells us about how a lack of female representation motivated her to start a new club. Find out more about Lets Run Manchester who we highlighted as the third club in our Spotlight series here.
MEET FOUNDER TONY PAYNE
Chorlton Runners started in 2005 with a simple, grainy ad in a local paper. Now it has 650 members who are unmissable at events in their eye-catching yellow and black club colours (and loud support!). Find out more about the charismatic Chorlton Runners here.
