Welcome to our Manchester Half Event Village! To ensure your arrival is as easy as possible, please familiarise yourself with all the key locations below, especially the route to the start line.
Below you will find two handy maps, the first shows how participants can access Bag Drop in the Lancashire Cricket Club and how to access the Start, the second map shows where to meet your supporters and exit the Event Village after you finish.

If you are using bag drop, please arrive 30 minutes before your start access time.
Here are some answers to common bag drop questions
How many bags can I leave at bag drop?
- You will only be allowed one small bag per participant
What size bag can I leave at bag drop?
- Only small bags will be allowed (e.g. rucksack or small sports bag). No large bags or luggage.
How does bag drop work?
- As you hand in your bag you will receive a You’ll get a numbered wristband to collect your bag, unrelated to your bib number
Bag drop tips:
- Ensure all belongings are in your bag before reaching the front of the queue.
- To avoid queues, consider leaving items with a supporter or at your accommodation.
Please wear a top you want to donate to charity to keep you warm - keep wearing this until the end of the start chute where you will see signs to show you where to donate it as you get close to the start gantry - please don’t drop it too early!
When your donated pre-loved items are sold in their stores or marketplaces, you help keep products in use for longer making more use of the energy and resources used to make the
Dedicated bins will be provided for recycling and General Waste around the venue in Lancashire Cricket Club. Please look at the signs on each bin to determine what should be thrown in each type so that we can ensure as much waste as possible is recycled from the event.
