Ellie has been competing in karate for 4 years. Since receiving the Trafford Active Fund, Ellie has gone on to become Karate Champion in the 12-13 age group at the Hamburg Open, making her one of the top competitors in the country.

“The funding that Trafford Active Fund have generously provided went along way to making this possible and we are very grateful for it,” Ellie’s parents comment. “When we applied, we were looking for some assistance with International travel so that she can become more competitive looking towards Junior Premier League qualification. There is still a lot of work to do but the improvement is continual and that’s what we are aiming for.”
