“I am now back from Prague having had a very enjoyable and successful week with the England U19 lacrosse team.

England were playing in the U20 European Championships against seven other nations.  We qualified second in our group, then beat Israel and Ireland to reach the final, where we overcame a previously unbeaten Germany team, 9 goals to 8 to become European Champions.

I would like to thank the Trafford Active Fund for giving me the money, which helped me to prepare as well as I could for the tournament.  The next step is to make the training squad for the World Championships in Limerick in July 2020.”
