The Manchester Half wouldn’t be the same without its amazing supporters.

Whether you’re cheering on a loved one or soaking up the electric atmosphere, we’ve also pinpointed the best spots to spectate. These prime viewing areas don’t just offer great views of the action,  they’re also perfect for reuniting with participants after they cross the finish line.

 

1. DEANSGATE INTERCHANGE

Soak up the atmosphere at mile 1. Watch live starts on the big screen ‘Kick-off Cam’ and bring the participants some energy at this prime viewing spot.

2. WHARFSIDE

Give participants a boost at the Wharfside, where you can see participants twice as they blast by the iconic Old Trafford stadium.

3. STRETFORD

Stretford is a lively supporter spot. Catch participants twice as they head out and back at roughly at miles 5.5 and 10. Fast becoming a foodie hub, don’t forget to fuel up with some good grub!

Stretford Public Hall will be bringing the noise with DJs, a café-bar and a dedicated cheering station.

4. SALE

Situated slightly further out from the bustle of the centre, Sale strikes a charming balance of both experiences. With Bridgewater Canal running through its centre, Sale is home to friendly residents and many parks. See participants here from mile 6.5 to 9.

5. CHORLTON

Head to the ASICS Cheer Zone at Mile 11.5 in Chorlton and help participants power towards the finish line with music, big cheers and plenty of atmosphere. Look out for the ASICS marquee and grab a giveaway to support for your loved one!

We highly recommend meeting loved ones away from the finish area. If you attend the area and nearby tram stops then please be aware that there will be large crowds, one-way systems in place, queues, and some delays to your walking journeys. Space near the finish line is limited. You can meet with your finisher in the Event Village inside the Lancashire Cricket Club, however we recommend checking out ‘Where to Meet Your Loved One’ for great alternative options.
