Want to know when your participant is getting close to the finish line? We’ve got you covered.

Sign up for our 2-mile text alert and we’ll let one nominated supporter know when their participant is approximately two miles from the finish. That means you’ll have plenty of time to get ready to cheer them across the line.

The text will also include a link to our live finish line stream, so you can watch the action and see your participant complete their ASICS Manchester Half, wherever you are.

How does it work?

Choose one supporter to sign up using the form below. When your participant reaches approximately two miles to go, they’ll receive a text with the update and a link to the live stream.

They can then share the news with the rest of your support crew and make sure everyone is ready for that all-important finish line moment.

Please note: only one supporter per participant can receive the text alert.

The deadline to sign up is 11:59pm on Sunday 27 September.

What you’ll need

You’ll need your participant’s bib number to complete the form. Don’t know it? Ask your participant or check the Start List on the Start Times page.

Make a plan for meeting up

The finish line is going to be busy, so it’s worth having a plan before event day.

There may be long waiting times for trams and other transport around the finish, so we recommend arranging a meeting point away from the finish line. The Event Village is a great option and means you can celebrate together once your participant has crossed the line.
