Delicious, absurd and affordable. This pizza parlour has locations in both Bridge Street and Short Street in the city centre.
A quick visit to their website sums up the vibrant atmosphere, and if you really want to celebrate they are open until 4AM! There’s an excellent range of both vegetarian and vegan options alongside re-imagined classics such as the Hawaii 5.0.
Frankie’s Toasties

If a unforgettable toastie sounds like your way of celebrating, then head to Frankie’s Toasties in Portland Street. Take the safe but delicious option of a classic cheese and tomato if you like, but we’d recommend being brave and tasting something completely different such as the Pig Dog (cheese and pulled pork), Salford Super Noodle Buttie (chicken flavoured noodles) or a Chocolate Bar Toastie.

Located in King Street, this is a great place to hang out with mates, grab some reasonably healthy food, and potentially find a second sport of the day to nail.

If you’re looking for simple, honest, Mancunian food after your half marathon then take the short trip to Urmston and the Bus Stop Café.
The Bus Stop Breakfast Burger (ironically only served after 12) contains a beef burger, Cumberland ring sausage, bacon, fried egg and beans. Or if you’re feeling a little healthier try the popular brunch menu which includes the popular Avocado and Halloumi vegetarian option.
