HOW DID OUR 2025 FAMOUS FACES GET ON?
The Manchester Half saw a star-studded line-up, with celebrities adding glitz n’ glam to the misty Greater Manchester streets on Sunday 12th October 2025. Whether it was their first half marathon, or they were returning to the iconic Trafford Arch start-line, lets see how our famous faces got on.
CORONATION STREET STARS
Coronation Street cast Harriet Bibby, Channique Sterling-Brown and Calum Lill set off together under the Trafford Arch, in high spirits and some nerves for Channique, who was taking on her first official half marathon!

Calum Lill, Harriet Bibby and Channique Sterling Brown were in high spirits at the start line.
Harriet was over the line first, with a shiny new PB of 02:14:26. Not long after were Calum and Channique – who crossed the finish line together after Calum caught up in the final stretches of the 13.1 mile course.
Channique said the following at the finish line: “The first 10k was fun – I was loving it! Things got harder in the middle, but the crowd was amazing, and then Calum caught up with me at the end. Overall, I loved the event and feel so proud!” Channique finished the event in 02:27:11, with Calum in 02:27:09.
After catching up with her fellow cast members, Harriet said the following: “I honestly had so much fun today. There were so many people cheering us on, which is what Manchester is great for. I also got my half marathon PB today, so I’m absolutely chuffed!” Harriet finished the event in 02:14:26.

TOM CLARE (LOVE ISLAND)
Love Island All Star’s winner Tom Clare said he “had a blast” at the event, after finishing in a rapid 01:35:57.

DIANE CARSON (THE TRAITORS)

Diane took on the challenge in aid of the Dragonfly Cancer Trust.
The Traitors Season 2 star Diane Carson took on the event in aid of the Dragonfly Cancer Trust, raising over £1,200 to support children and young people with an end-of-life cancer diagnosis. Diane finished the event in 02:08:46.
ANEILA AFSAR
Gladiator’s finalist Aneila Afsar achieved her goal of beating her fastest half marathon time pushing her daughter in a pram – by a whole 4 minutes! Aneila said “I’ve always said my children will be my motivation not my limitation. I hope that many other women will be inspired and believe that they can achieve things despite their circumstances or barriers”. Aneila finished in a time of 01:49:18 – beating her PB pushing her daughter Aya in a pram by 4 minutes.

OLI PATERSON (AKA ‘EL BURRITO MONSTER’)
Foodie sensation Oli Paterson – aka. El Burrito Monster – was a returner at the event, praising it as “always a fun day”. Oli clocked a time of 01:40:18 – 12 minutes off his 2024 time. Well done Oli!

Oli is a returner at the Manchester Half.
