The success and excitement of the Manchester Half 2025 hasn’t escaped the eyes of the media, who have captured the event across regional and national outlets across the UK.

In the lead up to the event, Express Sports‘ Editor and participant Danny Gallagher took readers on his training journey to the Manchester Half, where he spoke about training, running gear & nutrition for the big day. This culminated in Danny finishing the event in a rapid 01:32:17 after an “awesome run”.
The BBC published ‘I can wholeheartedly say running’s changed my life’ after speaking to members of three local running clubs in Manchester. This included Laura Cloran, who took on the event for the first time, speaking about the profound impact taking up running had on her.
The Manchester Evening News reported on the star-studded event line up in their article ‘Coronation Street stars and Love Island couple sign up for Manchester Half Marathon’.
The Independent published all event information, as well as race tips from 2024 winner Jack Rowe and a round-up of inspiring participants taking part. Writer Jack Rathborn completed the event and his first half marathon in 01:21:07.
On event day, the BBC celebrated the success and positive impact of the event in ‘Thousands take to streets for city half-marathon’.
